Yesterday I participated in the Dirty Dash- pretty much one of the most entertaining things I have done in a long time. Let me explain: It is a 5k in the mud. Picture hundreds of people covered in mud, jumping over bales of hay, crawling through tunnels, climbing over walls, hopping through tires, slipping, slopping and wallowing in the mud. Yep, now you have almost imagined the Dirty Dash! But for those of you with limited imaginations, let me help you out :)

Pretty much the worst part of the race was the shower afterwards. It was FREEZING!! I had to find a happy place while standing under the faucet spewing freshly melted snow. Brrrr. Afterwards I had to lay on the ground in the parking lot and soak up the heat from the asphalt to stop from shivering...... Next year I'm definitely saving up for a $3 hot shower :)
